Founded in 1990, the Raincoast Conservation Foundation is a not-for-profit research and public education organization. Their team of conservationists and scientists have worked on many flagship projects, with salmon allocations for grizzly bears and wildlife being a main focus. They have inspired millions of people with the diversity and beauty of the Great Bear Rainforest, as well as brought to their attention the threats to the forest. They are committed to protecting the lands, waters, and wildlife of coastal British Columbia
